Programs Supported

Imagine having to choose between putting dinner on the table for your family and taking a sick child to the doctor because you cannot afford to do both. Many families face these kinds of tough choices day in and day out.

Your donation to the AnMed Health Foundation supports programs and funds designed to make healthcare services accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of their circumstances, and to continuously enhance the level of care at AnMed Health.

Support the Greatest Need Fund to maximize the impact of your giving.

The AnMed Health Foundation supports a number of individual funds. The Greatest Need Fund allows us to put your gift where it’s needed most. The greatest need may be used to purchase medicine for someone who can’t afford it, medical equipment for a disabled child, or devices that put 24-hour medical assistance just one push of a button away from someone who lives alone. A wide range of causes supported by The AnMed Health Foundation includes assistance for cancer patients, intensive therapy for special-needs children, summer camp for children with asthma and mobile diagnostics that take services such as mammograms into rural communities.

Safe Kids Anderson County, an injury prevention effort led by AnMed Health, was launched in 1999 to create awareness and educate parents and caregivers on how to prevent the injuries that maim and kill more local children than any other cause. Unintentional injury is the leading health risk facing Anderson County children. Safe Kids educates families, provides safety devices to families in need and advocates for better laws to help keep children safe, healthy and out of the emergency room.
